We have a large range of steel and aluminium posts available from stock together with post caps & fittings.

Steel posts are finished as standard, with a grey textured plastic coating and are generally used for industrial applications such as highway signs and in heavier applications.

Aluminium Posts have a cleaner more polished finish and are more frequently used where appearance is of greater importance.

Standard finishes are grey plastic coating on steel posts and grey powder coated for aluminium.

Please note when ordering steel posts these are generally three times heavier than aluminium.

Aluminium signposts are available in most standard RAL or BS Colours. Stock grey posts are available for same day despatch.

Most sizes of aluminium and steel posts up to 6m long are available from stock same day despatch. Posts in excess of 6.000 metres long are available as special orders.

We strongly recommend the use of below ground base plates when installing signposts.

These prevent the rotation or removal of the posts after the concrete has set. It is often easier to cast a concrete foundation without supporting the weight of the post itself. It can also be an advantage to undertake the groundwork before taking signposts to site. In these instances it can be very useful to use foundation sleeves. These ribbed plastic sleeves can be pre-cast into concrete foundations allowing signposts to be light cast or sand filled at a later date.

Manufactured from mild steel tube and seem welded our Wall mounted post brackets are ideal for mounting channelled aluminium signs in situations where conventional post mounting is not possible. Wall mounted post brackets are supplied powder coated Black and come with a Black internal post cap for that finishing touch.

When a post is already in situation and requires a little more height a post extension is the perfect answer. Available in sizes up to 1000mm long, post extensions are held in stock in aluminium and are also available in steel. Post extensions use a 'spigot' system which is a very quick and easy way to install them only requiring an Allen key (and a set of ladders) to complete the job.

When it is not possible to plant a post in the ground, surface mounting is the only option. We have a range of both Steel and Aluminium welded base posts to enable you to install the posts very quickly and easily. Our welded base plate posts are supplied with the post in one complete section in lengths of up to 3000mm. All that is required is a spanner or socket to tighten the 4 Rawl bolts into the ground.

As a theft deterrent we strongly advise the use of underground base plates. Made from stainless steel, base plates are available for most diameter round posts. Once again base plates are simple to use requiring only a spanner to attach the plate to the base of the post.

When groundwork is desired prior to taking posts to site, Foundation sleeves can make the whole process a lot easier. These Ribbed hard plastic sleeves can be pre set into concrete to allow the sign posts to be introduced at a later date. The sign posts will then require a light cast or sand filled surround. This can be very advantageous as this eliminates the need to support the weight of the post while concreting the surrounding ground.
