News: NEW approved ACCIDENT BOOK

By the 31st of December 2003 all businesses must possess an accident book which complies to the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998.

In the past employees making new entries into accident books have been able to view personal details from the last entry of another employee.

The NEW accident book allows for accidents to be recorded whilst also being produced on a tear-off slip so details can be stored in a secure location. Other benefits include guidance to first aid requirements, understanding workplace requirements for safety signs and an introduction to new interactive safety training CD Roms.

Remember - Businesses must change their accident books to be in line with the DPA by the 31st December 2003.This affects you!

MAKE SURE YOU COMPLY!
