Local MP visits
Norman Baker, the Member of Parliament for Lewes recently visited
Sussex Signs as part of a tour of Newhaven businesses. During his
visit he met the staff, discussed some of the issues facing employers
and even tried his hand at sign writing! Mr Baker is a champion of
local businesses and is a keen supporter for the ongoing regeneration
that is taking place in Newhaven.
"It was great for the staff to meet Mr
Baker," commented Norman Mayhew who said that sharing the same
forename hadn't presented too many problems. "We talked about a number
of the difficulties employers face including staff training and the
ever increasing amount of red tape that businesses have to go
through."
Staff Spotlight
- Sven Paris
It's been an exciting time for Sven recently. First came his promotion
from designer to the sales team at Sussex Signs, and this month he
announced his engagement! Sven has many years experience in design and
joined the company in December 2001. His first love is still design
though he is enjoying the challenges of the sales team
Product News
Sussex Signs have been printing large format artwork for some time
including exhibition panels, vehicle wraps and shop fascias. We have
now added a new product to our portfolio - a banner system. Banners
can be used in-store as part of a product display or for exhibitions
and events. Our system is self contained with a base constructed from
lightweight aluminium. The system takes about 30 seconds to assemble
and is delivered to you in a handy carry case.
The banner can be replaced if you have a new product or service you
wish to promote. Cost is £275.00 + VAT including artwork. For a
