about us : charityback to previous page

At the Sussex Sign Company we are proud of our links with the local community, and as such are happy to help local charities and childrens clubs with subsidised signage etc so they can keep much needed funds to assist them in the valuable work they do.

Some of the things we have helped with are listed below. If you have a Sussex based charity and think we may be able to help please do not hesitate to contact norman@sussexsigns.com we can’t promise to do things for nothing and don’t have a bottomless pit of money to spend on charities, but if we can help a worthwhile cause, we will do.

This is the Sussex Sign Companies favourite chartity, our team member “Phill Corsi” is a volunteer crew member of the Newhaven Lifeboat and "Norman Mayhew" was a crew member for 8 years before he had to leave due to a knee injury. So now and again you could be on the phone and if Phill's pager goes off for a “shout” then he is off!

Someone else in the team will obviously be around to help but I am sure you will understand that when needed they go.

The Sussex Sign Company are proud to be associated with the Newhaven Lifeboat and the RNLI in general. Please visit www.newhavenlifeboat.co.uk to find out more.

We were asked by the Newhaven Branch of the National Coastwatch organization to provide two advertising banners for the purpose of promoting there organization. We were very happy to sponsor these banners as the National Coastwatch is a totally voluntary organization, keeping a lookout for people or vessels in distress 365 days a year and has been responsible for helping save many lives around the country.

To find out more about the excellent work which they do, or to see how you can support or donate to there excellent organization please visit their website at www.nci.org.uk.

We were approached by a local branch of the Red Cross to quote on removing some existing Livery from an Incident Support Trailer, and replacing it with the livery you see in the photograph complete with reflective stripping. Knowing the fantastic work the Red Cross do around the world, we decided to carry out the work totally free of charge, allowing them to keep very hard earned funds and spend the money on the vital front line work which they do.
